Akademia is an innovative national chain of Training and Development
institutes aimed at bridging the gap between academic teaching and
industry requirements, thereby making youth employable.
It was started by a group of 15 IIM Alumni/Faculty including CXOs of
companies like Procter & Gamble, Wipro, Reckitt Benckiser, Cadbury,
Sara Lee, Bharti Airtel, Mtv etc.
The vocational training sector alone accounts for over US$10
billion. Preliminary calculation suggests that Employability
Training similar to what Elements offers in Tier II cities is worth
at least US$1bn. In the last two years, Elements has grown 11 times.
In the next 5-7 years, the vision of Elements is to emerge as one of
the Top Service Providers in this domain and capture at least 7-8%
market share in the chosen cities.
We offer following services to empower the talent pool of India and
abroad-:
* Employability Training: We provide
a rigorous 120 hour ‘employability’ intervention in various
B-schools/ technical institutions of India with the aim to provide a
pool of trained manpower to the industry. We have various Corporate,
MNC’s, SME’s and Start-ups as our hiring partners who select the
students we train.
* Corporate Training: Elements with
its pool of 50 senior IIM Alumni and faculty provides customized
solutions to solve a real business problem. A typical 2 day workshop
is preceeded by 2 weeks of efforts in understanding specific issues
and then designing curriculum.
* Consultancy Services: Led by a
former Engagement Manager of Mckinsey, we don’t just consult but
actually partner with the business to understand detailed
requirements, do extensive benchmarking, provide customized
solution, hand hold in implementation, monitor results and finally
consolidate learnings.
* Content Building: Elements has
been developing Best in Class content after conducting internal
research and consulting industry leaders. Project is closed only
when clients rate the content Good/Excellent. Option of e-learning
(with state-of-the-art tools) exist at very low rates.
